Flagship course

Press Interview Mastery.

One day. One outcome. Walk out of any press interview with the quote you wanted on the page, the message you intended on the record, and the confidence you needed in the chair. Run by working journalists who know exactly what their colleagues are looking for.

Who this is for

Built for the chair you cannot duck.

Founders running their first funding round. CEOs preparing for an FT or Bloomberg interview. Public sector leaders facing scrutiny. Senior executives stepping into a podcast, conference panel or live broadcast. If the next thirty minutes of conversation could change how you, your company or your sector are perceived for years, this is your room.

What you learn

The four moves of a confident interviewee.

Built on The Erbut Method. By the end of the day you will not need a script. You will have the muscle memory to run any interview yourself.

Listen

Read the journalist before they ask.

Research that takes ten minutes. Spotting the angle. Hearing the question behind the question.

Frame

Three points, sharpest first.

How to build a message in language a reader will actually quote, not corporate boilerplate.

Bridge

Move from any question to your message.

The phrases the professionals use. Honest, fluent, and journalist-proof.

Land

Deliver under 30 seconds.

Voice, pace and body language. On a phone, on Zoom, on television, in a green room.

Format

Eight hours that change the next ten years of your media life.

One full day, live, with a working journalist as your trainer. In-person in central London, on-site at your office anywhere in the UK, or live online for international leadership teams. Cohort capped at six so everyone gets multiple mock interviews and immediate feedback.

  • Pre-course brief. We learn your sector, your story, your worst-case questions.
  • Morning. Theory, framework, and writing your three-message plan.
  • Afternoon. Mock interviews on camera with playback critique by your trainer.
  • Take-away. Your personal Erbut Method playbook plus the Press Interview Survival Kit.
